AQT 803
COAGULANT – For production of potable water and for treating industrial effluent
Recommended use: AQT 803 is a cost effective liquid polyaluminiumchloride suitable for use in most applications.
Restriction on use: Not for food, drug or household use.
Features: The raw material used in the manufacture of AQT 803 is NSF-approved. It is cost effective at very low dosages.
Dosage and control: The dose rate required is usually determined by means of jar tests for each specific application. Typically river water with a turbidity of less than 30 NTU can be clarified with anywhere from 10 ppm, provided that a suitable flocculant is also used. The product should be dosed just before a mixing zone. Dose directly from the drum or other suitable container. May be dosed full strength or diluted.
Handling: Do not mix with other chemicals. Prevent contact with eyes.
Incompatible materials: Galvanized surfaces, Mild steel, Stainless steel, Aluminium, Copper and their alloys.
Storage: Keep away from strong reducing/oxidizing agents and prevent exposure to extremes of temperatures.

- DO NOT smoke, eat or drink anything when working with this product or before safety clothes are removed and hands and arms are properly washed.
- Contact on skin – wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- Contact with eyes – flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately
- Ingestion – drink plenty of water and obtain medical attention. DO NOT induce vomiting.
