CORROSION & SCALE INHIBITORS – Multicomponent inhibitor program for CCW systems
Recommended use: AQT 908 is a liquid corrosion inhibitor program designed for high heat flux systems. It is a multicomponent inhibitor that provides ferrous metal corrosion protection, copper alloy and aluminium corrosion protection and scale inhibition in closed cooling water systems.
Restriction on use: Not for food, drug or household use.
Features: Rapid kill of algae and other microorganisms, Low toxicity, Improved heat exchange due to clean surfaces.
Dosage and control: Normal dose rate: 3 – 5 % and may be slug dosed or dosed by means of a chemical dosing pump proportional to make-up rate. pH should be controlled in the range 8,5 to 11, but preferably 9,5 to 10,5. pH above 9,3 will yield a pink colour in the water. Control Nitrite: 1000 – 1700 ppm. NOTE: Should be fed neat via a closed feed system.
Handling: Do not mix with other chemicals. Prevent contact with eyes and skin.
Compatible materials: Ferrous metals, Copper alloys, Aluminium.
Incompatible materials: Totally incompatible with acids.
Storage: Keep this product in original closed container in cool area away from heat.

- DO NOT smoke, eat or drink anything when working with this product or before safety clothes are removed and hands and arms are properly washed.
- Contact on skin – wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- Contact with eyes – flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately
- Ingestion – drink plenty of water and obtain medical attention. DO NOT induce vomiting.
