ANIONIC GEL BLOCKS
FLOCCULANTS – Effective for treatment of waste water and process water
Recommended use: Anionic gel blocks are made from negatively charged polyacrylamide and are an effective flocculant for treatment of waste and process water.
Restriction on use: Not for food, drug or household use.
Features: Highly efficient suspended solids removal. Synergistic effects with coagulants
Effective at low dosage levels – cost effective.
Dosage and control: Normal dose rate: 3 – 20 ppm, but dosage rates should be optimised for local conditions. Blocks are suspended in the stream of water to be treated using suitable cages. Dosage is controlled by adding or removing blocks from the stream of water.
Handling: Do not mix with other chemicals. Prevent contact with eyes and skin. Irritating to eyes.
Storage: Store at temperatures < 50°C in a dry shelter away from oxidising and reducing agents.

- Ingestion – drink plenty of water and obtain medical attention. DO NOT induce vomiting.
