BIOCIDE – Combination broad spectrum biocide and algaecide for use in cooling water systems
Recommended use: AQT 116 is a combination broad spectrum biocide and algaecide for use in cooling water systems where bacteria and biofilm are expected to be present. It provides microorganism control and clean systems.
Restriction on use: Not for food, drug, medical or household use.
Features: Rapid kill of algae and other microorganisms, Low toxicity, Improved heat exchange due to clean surfaces.
Dosage and control: 80 – 160 ppm in system depending on degree of fouling. Can be dosed continuously or slug dosed. Can be dosed directly from the drum or other suitable container. May be dosed full strength or diluted to any convenient concentration.
Handling: Do not mix with other chemicals. Prevent contact with eyes.
Compatible materials: Stainless steel, Polyethylene, Polypropylene.
Incompatible materials: Mild steel.
Storage: Keep this product in original closed container in cool area away from heat.
