BIOCIDE – Broad-spectrum biocide for use in cooling water systems
Recommended use: AQT 137 is a broad-spectrum biocide for use in cooling water systems where bacteria and biofilm are expected to be present. It provides microorganism control and clean systems. It may be used alone or with other biocides on a rotation basis.
Restriction on use: Not for food, drug or household use.
Features: Designed to kill bacteria and help prevent slime problems. Has very low environmental impact.
Dosage and control: Normal dose rate: 40 – 60 ppm in system continuous dosing. 60 – 80 ppm slug dosing. Higher dose rates may be needed for badly fouled systems or in warmer weather. Can be dosed directly from the drum or other suitable container. May be dosed full strength or diluted to any convenient concentration. When slug dosed it is recommended that a biodispersant such as AQT 186 or AQT 168 is used.
Handling: Do not mix with other chemicals. Prevent contact with eyes.
Compatible materials: Stainless steel, Polyethylene, Polypropylene. PVC.
Incompatible materials: Mild steel.
Storage: Keep this product in original closed container in cool area away from heat.

- DO NOT smoke, eat or drink anything when working with this product or before safety clothes are removed and hands and arms are properly washed.
- Contact on skin – wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- Contact with eyes – flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately
- Ingestion – drink plenty of water and obtain medical attention. DO NOT induce vomiting.
