AQT 222
BOILER TREATMENT – Multifunctional blend designed to reduce corrosion, scale and fouling
Recommended use: AQT 222 is a sulphite / polymer / amine etc. blend designed to reduce corrosion, scale formation and fouling in boiler systems.
Restriction on use: Not for food, drug or household use.
Features: Scale prevention, corrosion prevention, antifoam and sludge dispersant. Suitable for use in most food and institutional applications. Suited for soft feed water applications but can also be used with limited hardness in feed water. Includes condensate line protection. Single drum product.
Passivation of active corrosion by the formation of an iron tannate film.
Dosage and control: Normal dose rate to feed water: Depends on feedwater temperature. 30 – 80 ppm sulphite in boiler water. Boiler (10 bar) Neutralised TDS: Recommend < 2500 ppm. Boiler (10 bar) OH Alkalinity: Recommend 100 – 600 ppm. pH: 10,5 to 12,0. Feed water hardness: Recommend < 30 ppm. Can be dosed directly from the drum or other suitable container. May be dosed full strength or diluted to any convenient concentration.
Handling: Do not mix with other chemicals. Prevent contact with eyes.
