ANTI-SCALANT – Special formulation to reduce scale formation in RO plants
Recommended use: AQT 706 is a specially formulated solution designed to reduce scale formation in RO plants. It is also useful in other systems where iron and calcium carbonate scale needs to be prevented.
Restriction on use: Not for food, drug or household use.
Features: Effective against most scales that form in RO units. Formulated for very small RO plants, up to about 10m³/h feed.
Dosage and control: Dependent on system hardness, pH and alkalinity. Usually dosed from 40 ppm to 60 ppm in the feed water. The dose rate is determined by using the feed water analysis in software. Can be dosed directly from the drum or other suitable container. May be dosed full strength or diluted to any convenient concentration.
Handling: Do not mix with other chemicals. Prevent contact with eyes.
Compatible materials: Stainless steel, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, PVC.
Incompatible materials: Mild steel, Aluminium, Zinc, Copper.
Storage: Keep this product in original closed container in cool area away from heat and strong oxidizing agents. Do not store in mild steel containers unless suitably lined.

- Contact with eyes – flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately
- Ingestion – drink plenty of water and obtain medical attention. DO NOT induce vomiting.
