BIOCIDE – Broad-spectrum biocide for use in membrane systems
Recommended use: AQT 743 is a broad-spectrum biocide for use in membrane systems where bacteria and biofilm are expected to be present. It provides microorganism control and clean systems. It may be used alone or with other biocides on a rotation basis.
Restriction on use: Not for food, drug or household use.
Features: Designed to kill bacteria and help prevent slime problems. Has very low environmental impact.
Dosage and control: Recommended Treatment: 50 to 100 ppm of AQT 743 circulated from CIP tank for 30 – 60 minutes. Rinse well with permeate to remove the biocide before normal production is resumed. Lower dose rates may be effective under some conditions. Consult your technical representative.
Handling: Do not mix with other chemicals. Prevent contact with eyes.
Compatible materials: Stainless steel, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, PVC
Incompatible materials: Mild steel.
Storage: Keep this product in original closed container in cool area away from heat.

- DO NOT smoke, eat or drink anything when working with this product or before safety clothes are removed and hands and arms are properly washed.
- Contact on skin – wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- Contact with eyes – flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately
- Ingestion – drink plenty of water and obtain medical attention. DO NOT induce vomiting.
