COAGULANT – General coagulant/flocculant blend
Recommended use: AQT 843 is a cost-effective liquid polyaluminium chloride and polyamine blend suitable for use in most applications.
Restriction on use: Not for food, drug or household use.
Features: Can be used in dosages up to 125 ppm to produce potable water. Can safely be used upstream of reverse osmosis units. Is effective at very low concentrations and can also be used in industrial effluent-treatment applications.
Dosage and control: Dose rates are determined by means of jar tests. Typically, 10 – 20 ppm of AQT 843 is required for river water with a turbidity of less than 30 NTU. Can be dosed directly from the drum or other suitable container. May be dosed full strength or diluted to any convenient concentration. Must be dosed before a mixing zone.
Handling: Do not mix with other chemicals. Prevent contact with eyes.
Compatible materials: Polyethylene, Polypropylene, PVC, most rubber.
Incompatible materials: Steel, Aluminium, Zinc, Copper.
Storage: Keep this product in original closed container in cool area, away from extremes of
temperature. Keep away from strong oxidizing agents and alkalis. Do not store in steel containers unless suitably lined.

- DO NOT smoke, eat or drink anything when working with this product or before safety clothes are removed and hands and arms are properly washed.
- Contact on skin – wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- Contact with eyes – flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately
- Ingestion – drink plenty of water and obtain medical attention. DO NOT induce vomiting.
