SCALE REMOVERS – Specially formulated acidic polymer solution for cooling water systems
Recommended use: AQT 972 is a specially formulated acidic polymer solution designed to remove scale formation in cooling water systems. It is also useful in evaporators and most other systems where calcium carbonate scale needs to be removed.
Restriction on use: Not for food, drug or household use.
Features: Chlorine resistant. Multiple mechanisms – Threshold inhibition, crystal habit modification and dispersion. NOTE: Can be mixed with many other scale inhibitors, but tests should be done first.
Dosage and control: Normal dose rate: 200 – 500 ppm in system slug dose once or twice per week depending on degree of scaling. Or 50 – 200 ppm continuous dosing together with normal product dosing. Can be dosed directly from the drum or other suitable container. May be dosed full strength or diluted to any convenient concentration.
Handling: Do not mix with other chemicals. Prevent contact with eyes and skin.
Compatible materials: Stainless steel, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, PVC.
Incompatible materials: Mild steel, Aluminium, Zinc, Copper.
Storage: Keep this product in original closed container in cool area away from heat and strong oxidising agents. Do not store in mild steel containers unless suitably lined.

- Contact on skin – wash thoroughly with soap and water.
- Contact with eyes – flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention immediately
- Ingestion – drink plenty of water and obtain medical attention. DO NOT induce vomiting.
